1. What MechLAB is

MechLAB is a set of online engineering tools. During the soft launch it is offered free of charge and as is, and it may change or be interrupted.

2. Engineering results

Results, charts and reports are engineering aids. They do not replace the applicable standard, the judgment of a qualified engineer or your company's rules. You are responsible for the data you enter and for verifying every result before relying on it, especially in critical or safety-related applications.

Projections (for example the wear projection in WearSection) are estimates with uncertainty, and comparisons between materials are scenarios, not validated predictions.

3. Your account

Keep your password private: you are responsible for what happens in your account. If you forget your password, contact us.

4. Tokens

Tokens are credits to run analyses. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be adjusted during the soft launch. If an analysis fails, its tokens are refunded automatically. You can ask for more tokens from your Tokens page; each request is reviewed personally and may be declined.

5. Your files and data

You keep all rights to the files and data you upload. You allow us to process them only to provide the service. Do not upload anything you are not allowed to share. Privacy policy

6. Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or probe the service, to access other users' data, or to use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and MechLAB is not liable for losses arising from its use or from decisions based on its results.
